A study of River Lagan made for a larger oil painting, hence it is unsigned. It has the artist name and address on reverse and the first owner of the painting - Colnel Rooth.
It is typical of his style with plenty of impasto and smudging. His large paintings sell for tens of thousands and his work is among the best sought after Irish painters.
